Anti-Static (ESD) Laboratory Chairs & Stools

The AluLab product range belong to an exciting new generation of workplace chairs and stools where functionality and resilience is combined stylishly with contemporary design and sustainability.

Our anti-static (ESD) chairs and stools meet the requirements of BS EN 61340. The stipulations of this standard is that upholstery, plastics, all metal parts, rollers, glides and all component parts etc must be conductive and dissipate any charge from the user safely.

High Back Laboratory Chair with Arms

Aluminium Frame 

  • Assembled from precise Pressure Die Cast components that are over 90% recyclable

​

  • The cast parts are easily cleanable using proprietary non-bleach surface cleaning solutions

​

  • The sturdy frames are pre-treated to yield a tactile surface finish

 

  • Aluminium has, by weight, a better electric and thermal conductivity than copper providing enhanced electro anti-static and thermal dissipation properties.

  • The P.U. mouldings are soft to the touch whilst being resilient to demanding environments in both laboratory and workshop settings

  • The P.U. pads are easily removable, robust and easy to clean

​

  • The P.U. can withstand pointed and sharp-edged products

​

  • P.U. mouldings are also offered that are capable of electro anti-static discharge with an additional anti-bacterial option available

Polyurethane (P.U.) Integrated Skin Upholstery

All of the above offer the opportunity to easily maintain the cleanliness of the chairs or stools whilst giving an enhanced life expectancy through replaceable seat and back pads and arm inserts which are all very easy to remove and replace.
